Member Agreement

1. Agreement to Participate

By enrolling in Anglican Care, you (“Member”) agree to the terms set forth in this Member Agreement. This Agreement describes the voluntary participation of Members in the Anglican Care Health Care Sharing Ministry.

Anglican Care is a Health Care Sharing Ministry, not an insurance company. This Agreement is not an insurance contract. Members do not have a contractual right to receive payment for any medical expense. Participation is entirely voluntary.

2. Statement of Faith

As a condition of membership, Members must affirm the Anglican Care Statement of Faith. This affirmation is a sincere statement of the Member’s beliefs and is required for participation in the ministry.

3. Monthly Contributions

Members agree to make monthly contributions according to the program tier selected at enrollment. Contribution amounts are published on our Programs page and may vary based on age, program tier, and family status.

  • Contributions may be made by ACH (bank transfer) or credit/debit card. ACH is preferred and results in a 3% savings.
  • Contributions are due on the date selected by the Member during enrollment.
  • Failure to maintain contributions may result in a lapse of membership and ineligibility for sharing.
  • Contribution amounts may be adjusted by Anglican Care with reasonable notice.

4. Medical Need Sharing

Sharing of medical needs is governed by our Sharing Guidelines. Members should review the Sharing Guidelines for details on eligibility, submission procedures, program limits, and exclusions.

Anglican Care does not guarantee that any medical need will be shared. Sharing depends on the availability of shared funds and compliance with the Sharing Guidelines.

5. Program Tiers

Members select one of the following program tiers at enrollment: Foundational, Essential, Complete, Senior Care, or Catastrophic Add-On. Each tier has different Member Responsibility Amounts, sharing limits, and eligibility criteria. Program details are published on our Programs page.

6. Pre-Existing Conditions

Medical needs related to pre-existing conditions are eligible for sharing after 12 months of continuous membership. See the Sharing Guidelines for details.

7. Member Responsibilities

Members agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during enrollment and for all medical need submissions.
  • Maintain monthly contributions in good standing.
  • Affirm and uphold the Statement of Faith.
  • Submit medical needs promptly with all required documentation.
  • Notify Anglican Care of changes to personal, contact, health, or financial information.
  • Treat fellow Members, staff, and partners with respect and Christian charity.

8. Anglican Care Responsibilities

Anglican Care agrees to:

  • Facilitate the voluntary sharing of medical needs among Members in accordance with the Sharing Guidelines.
  • Process medical need submissions in a timely and transparent manner.
  • Communicate the status of medical needs to submitting Members.
  • Maintain Member records and protect Member privacy in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Provide Member services including telehealth and prayer support.

9. Cancellation

Membership may be cancelled by the Member at any time by notifying Anglican Care. Cancellation is effective at the end of the current contribution period. Members who cancel may reapply for membership at any time, subject to enrollment requirements.

Anglican Care may terminate membership for failure to maintain contributions, misrepresentation of information, violation of the Statement of Faith, or violation of these guidelines. Notice of termination will be provided to the Member.

10. No Insurance

Anglican Care is not insurance. This Agreement is not an insurance contract. Anglican Care does not guarantee that any medical need will be shared. Members do not have a contractual right to receive payment for any medical expense. Sharing is voluntary and depends on the availability of shared funds.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the Member and Anglican Care. If resolution cannot be reached through negotiation, disputes shall be submitted to Christian mediation or arbitration in accordance with principles of Christian conciliation. The parties agree to waive any right to bring a claim in a court of law to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Amendment

Anglican Care may amend this Member Agreement at any time. Amendments will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued participation in Anglican Care after an amendment constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.

13. Entire Agreement

This Member Agreement, together with the Sharing Guidelines, Privacy Policy, and Statement of Faith, constitutes the entire understanding between the Member and Anglican Care regarding participation in the ministry.
